First dual-SIM 5G phones could arrive in 2020: MediaTek

First phones supporting 5G on two SIMs may arrive in 2020, MediaTek announced, as it shared details of its new 5G system-on-chip (SoC) called the Dimensity 1000. Built on the 7nm process, MediaTek claims its 5G chipset offers the most power-efficient 5G of any other mobile SoC. It had previously teased the 5G SoC for lower-end devices earlier this year.
