In 2004, Dhiraj Rajaram started Mu Sigma with an idea to involve programming, computer and maths together to build analytical models. In 2015, he separated from his Co - founder wife and was also sued by an existing investor. Dhiraj bought back his wife's and investor's share and regained control. In 2013, Mu Sigma became India's first profitable unicorn.
