The 24th Maharaja of the kingdom of Mysore, Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, was India's second richest man in the early 20th century. He had a passion for Rolls-Royce cars and would buy them in bulk. At one time, the Maharaja of Mysore owned 24 Rolls-Royces and Bentleys. His investments his kingdom's development marked his reign as the 'Golden Age of Mysore'.
