The New Shop in talks to acquire retail chain 24Seven: Report

Grocery convenience startup The New Shop is in advanced talks with Godfrey Phillips India to acquire retail chain 24Seven, The Economic Times reported. If the deal is finalised, all 24Seven stores will be renamed to 'The New Shop' stores, which will also remain open 24/7. Godfrey Phillips earlier announced it's exiting 24Seven as the business has a "negative net worth".
