The rare yellow flower of Arunachal Pradesh

Botanists from CSIR-IHBT have discovered Doronicum sanctum, a new plant species in the sunflower family, at 4,086 metres altitude in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. This marks the first time the genus Doronicum (Leopard's bane) has ever been recorded in Northeast India, extending its known range from the Western Himalayas.
