The Vatican refuses Trump's invite to join Gaza 'Board of Peace'

The Vatican will not participate in US President Donald Trump's Gaza 'Board of Peace' initiative, said the Vatican's top diplomat, Cardinal Pietro Parolin. Pope Leo, the first US pope and a critic of some of Trump's policies, was invited to join the board in January. The Pope has publicly condemned Trump's immigration crackdown and conditions for Palestinians in Gaza previously.
