The way Indian deportees were handcuffed, squeezed into plane is unacceptable: Tharoor

Talking about Opposition protest over 'mistreatment' of Indians deported from US, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said the manner in which they were deported, "in handcuffs, squeezed into a military aircraft, in such an abrupt manner, is not acceptable". "Under the (ex-US President Joe) Biden's administration last year, 1,100 Indians were deported. There was no...such humiliation," he added.
