Theni escapees to be shifted to high-security prisons

All 17 inmates who broke out of Theni district prison have been recaptured, and authorities are now transferring them to high-security central prisons in Salem, Vellore, Cuddalore, and Puzhal. Legal proceedings are underway, with most convicts remanded to judicial custody. The jailbreak was executed using a fake medical emergency to overpower a guard.
