Theog hospital to get 8 specialists, eyes district hospital status

The state government has ordered the appointment of eight specialist doctors at Civil Hospital, Theog, around 30 km from Shimla, in a move aimed at strengthening healthcare services in upper Shimla and reducing the burden on major hospitals in the state capital. Congress MLA from Theog, Kuldeep Rathore, welcomed the decision, saying the appointment of specialists would strengthen the hospital.
