There can't be 3-day untouchability against women every month: SC on entry into Sabrimala

While hearing arguments against its 2018 verdict striking down the ban on women of menstruating age from entering Kerala's Sabrimala Temple, Supreme Court judge Justice BV Nagarathna observed, "Speaking as a woman, there can't be a three-day untouchability every month, and on the fourth day, there's no untouchability." The government objected to the ban being called an act of untouchability.
