'Drishyam: The Conclusion' director Abhishek Pathak said he was under immense pressure following Akshaye Khanna’s sudden exit from the film. He called for a rule to prevent actors from opting out of projects at the last minute. "You cannot start doing creative discussions after taking...payment and getting...contract signed," he said, adding that this had happened with a couple of films.
