Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn has urged DC skipper Axar Patel to bowl more in the IPL 2026 season, saying, "They need more overs from him [Axar]. He plays for India and is the No.1 player in DC." Notably, during IPL 2025, he bowled only 34 overs in 11 innings marking the second-lowest in his overall 12-year IPL career.
