They're hardworking: Taiwan on bringing in Indians to ease job crunch

Taiwan has agreed to bring in Indian migrant workers so as to expand its foreign workforce. "The quality of Indian labour is stable, they're hardworking and well-considered," Taiwan's Ministry of Labour said. Taiwan, a major semiconductor producer, has an ageing society and is home to around 7,00,000 migrant workers who come mostly from Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand.
