Thicker green nets made mandatory at construction sites to curb dust pollution in Delhi
Delhi government has made it mandatory for all construction and demolition (C&D) sites to use green nets with a minimum thickness of 100 GSM to curb dust pollution. Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the decision would help prevent the spread of PM2.5 and PM10 particles. Officials stated that construction and demolition activities are major contributors to dust pollution.
