Former US Open champion Dominic Thiem, who retired from tennis in 2024 at the age of 31, has made a switch to football. He has joined Badener AC, an amateur club that competes in Austria's eighth division. The 32-year-old Austrian has been playing football since retiring and previously represented his hometown club, SC Lichtenwörth, according to reports.
