Thieves steal gold treasures worth ₹18.9 crore in 4 minutes from Spain museum
In a "superfast" high-profile heist, thieves raided Spain's Treasure of Villena in just four minutes, stealing Bronze Age gold artefacts described as the most important prehistoric trove in Europe. The stolen gold alone is worth around €1.7 million (₹18.9 crore). Last October, thieves broke into Paris' Louvre Museum in broad daylight and escaped with ₹850 crore worth of jewellery.
