Thiruvananthapuram mother held after toddler’s death

Thiruvananthapuram police took Christy into custody after her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Anna died following an alleged attack at their home in Pottayil. Christy reportedly took Anna into a bedroom and locked the door, prompting the grandmother to raise an alarm. The family rushed the toddler to Medical College Hospital, but doctors could not save her. Police are investigating the motive.
