India condemned the attack on the Panama-flagged commercial vessel MT On Peace in the Strait of Hormuz, which left 12 crew members including 11 Indians injured. "The targeting of commercial shipping, seafarers and civilian infrastructure in the region must end," MEA said, reiterating India's call for an "immediate cessation of such attacks". The injured crew are receiving treatment in Oman.
