Thousands of Bangladeshis cheated by Chinese app E-Movie: Report

Thousands of Bangladeshis have fallen victim to a scam involving a Chinese app 'E-Movie', media reports said citing V News. The victims opened an account on the app with a minimum amount of ₹1,558 hoping to get dollars if they bought movie tickets on E-Movie. Users reported that their account balance became zero.
