Thousands of Chinese employees join campaign against '996' work culture

Thousands of private-sector employees in China are joining an online campaign called 'Worker Lives Matter' against the '996' office culture in the country. China's work pace is often addressed as '996' because employees often work from 9 am to 9 pm six days a week. Under the online campaign, employees are sharing their working hours and days on a spreadsheet.
