Thousands protest against COVID-19 measures in Netherlands

Thousands of people protested in Amsterdam on Sunday against COVID-19 measures imposed by the government despite a surge in coronavirus cases in the Netherlands. The protesters played music, chanted anti-government slogans and then marched along thoroughfares. The country reported more than 36,000 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, according to official data.
