Thousands protest against govt in Sri Lanka amid economic crisis

Tens of thousands of people took part in anti-government protests in Sri Lanka's capital Colombo on Tuesday, amid one of the country's worst economic crises. The protesters accused the government of mismanaging the economy and creating a foreign exchange crisis. The crisis has led to shortages of essential items like fuel, cooking gas, milk powder and medicines.
