Thousands protest in Portugal over high cost of living, inflation

Thousands of people in Portugal took to the streets of Lisbon to protest against the rising cost of living and high inflation on Saturday. According to government data, over 50% of the workers earned less than $1,054.60 per month last year. Portugal witnessed an increase of 18.7% in house prices in 2022, the biggest increase in three decades.
