Three held in Bengaluru for ₹28 lakh ‘Barish Money’ scam

A ‘Barish Money’ scam gang cheated a Bengaluru contractor of ₹28 lakh by promising to triple his money. The accused fled after taking the cash but were arrested within hours. Police recovered ₹40 lakh and identified another victim who was cheated of ₹18 lakh. Authorities have warned the public against money-doubling schemes.
