Three policemen suspended for extorting ₹3,000 in Pashan

Three policemen have been suspended for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹3,000 from a resident during a night patrol in Pashan. The officers, Santosh Shinde, Pratik Trimbke and Dinesh Ingale, reportedly demanded money from a resident, citing noise from construction as a disturbance. Following an enquiry, DCP Nikhil Pingale submitted a report, leading to the officers' suspension.
