Thunderstorms, gusty winds expected in Meghalaya; IMD warns

IMD has issued a weather warning for Meghalaya for the next five days, predicting thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in several districts. A yellow alert is in effect from March 12-14, escalating to an orange alert on March 15 due to heavy rainfall. IMD also warned residents, farmers and outdoor workers to take necessary safety precautions as risks increase.
