Ticket pricing disproportionately surged post-COVID: MovieMax CEO

Ashish Kanakia, CEO of MovieMax Cinemas, said the ticket pricing has "disproportionately" and "drastically" increased for "larger" films post-COVID. Talking about the discussion on need for lowering ticket prices, Kanakia said, "[After] we get a good understanding of the type of content that is connecting with the consumer, the industry should stabilise and all this turbulence will go away."
