Tier 2 & 3 Cities: The new logistics hubs of India

India's logistics and warehousing sector, contributing 13-14% to GDP, saw a total inventory of 533.1 million sq. ft. in 2024, with tier 2 and 3 cities adding 100 million sq. ft. (18.7%). The hub-and-spoke model, GST, and National Logistics Policy aim to cut logistics costs from 13-14% to 8%, driving growth and efficiency.
