Tiger found dead in MP's tiger reserve, territorial fight suspected

An adult tiger was found dead in the Pench Tiger Reserve (PTR) in Madhya Pradesh's Seoni district. The carcass of the feline, around 12 years old, was said to have been found with multiple injury marks and it was suspected that the animal died in a territorial fight. It was disposed of as per the National Tiger Conservation Authority guidelines.
