Tigress rescued from tiger reserve dies during treatment at Bilaspur Zoo

A 13-year-old tigress died during treatment in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district on Wednesday, a forest official said. The tigress was rescued from Achanakmar Tiger Reserve in June last year and was taken to Kanan Pendari Zoological Garden in Bilaspur for treatment. A seven-member committee was formed for her treatment, however, the animal died due to age-related ailments.
