TikTok lays off e-commerce team amid US tariffs war with China

Amid US Tariffs war with China, TikTok has reportedly laid off e-commerce team in the country as it failed to meet the expected performance standard. The reports said that the TIkTok layoffs were first reported by five employees who said that company's global governance and experience team for TikTok Shop were to be impacted by the layoffs.
