TikTok sued by several US states claiming it is harmful for teens

Over a dozen states in the US and the District of Columbia have filed lawsuits against TikTok on Tuesday, alleging the app is harming youth mental health by designing its platform to be addictive to kids. The lawsuits also emphasise design features, such as the ability to scroll endlessly through content and push notifications that come with built-in "buzzes".
