TikTok's US sale dropped, Oracle set to be tech partner: Reports

TikTok's parent company ByteDance has reportedly abandoned plans for the sale of the short video app's US operations and is set to onboard Oracle as a tech partner. Under the proposed deal, Oracle will assume management of TikTok’s US user data, as per reports. Talks of the sale were dropped after ByteDance reportedly said it wouldn't transfer TikTok's algorithm.
