Tilak becomes 252nd cricketer to play ODI cricket for India, Rohit hands him debut cap

Batting all-rounder Tilak Varma has become the 252nd cricketer to play ODI cricket for India. The 20-year-old was handed his debut cap by captain Rohit Sharma ahead of their Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage match against Bangladesh. Tilak had made his T20I debut for India last month. He has scored 174 runs in seven T20Is for India.
