TIME list includes Gisèle Pelicot, whose husband invited strangers to rape her

The TIME magazine has released its list of 100 most influential people of 2025 and it includes Gisèle Pelicot, a French woman whose husband raped her, drugged her, and also invited strangers to rape her for nearly a decade. "Just as Gandhi challenged racial violence in India, Gisèle has challenged patriarchy everywhere," social activist Gloria Steinem wrote about Gisèle.
