Tinder testing photo verification feature to avoid impersonation

In order to deter catfishing, Tinder is testing a photo verification feature which would require users to post real-time selfies matching a pose shown by a model in a sample image. The pictures will then be sent for verification and on completion the users' profiles would get a blue check mark. Currently, the feature is being tested in select markets.
