Tiny peptide stops excess blood fat and reduces cholesterol

Researchers at IIT Bombay, IISER Pune, & IISER Kolkata have found a new way to treat high cholesterol levels in the blood. By using a tiny peptide called KTDP, they blocked the motor proteins that ferry fat out of liver cells. This approach cut blood fat levels by 50% without causing harmful lipid buildup in the liver.
