Tired of waiting for govt action, villagers crowdfund ₹1 cr to build 108-ft bridge

Residents of a village in UP's Ghazipur crowdfunded nearly ₹1 crore to build a 108-foot bridge. The residents were reportedly tired of waiting for local representatives to get the bridge built after repeatedly raising demand. A retired Armyman donated ₹10 lakh and led the initiative to crowdfund construction expenses and foundation stone was laid in presence of a HC judge.
