TISS defers convocation with CJI as chief guest due to potential student protest: Reports

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, postponed its 86th Convocation ceremony, scheduled for August 2, at the eleventh hour. Though its notice cited "unforeseen circumstances" and "wellbeing of...campus life" as reasons, reports said it was due to potential student protests targeting CJI Surya Kant, who was to be the chief guest. Cockroach Janta Party was formed after CJI's remarks.
