TMC MP Saugata Roy cites 'dadagiri' by TMC leaders as reason for defeat in Bengal

While explaining the reasons behind TMC's loss in West Bengal, senior MP Saugata Roy cited "dadagiri" by local leaders. "People were unhappy with us, particularly with our local leaders. There were instances of extortion, and we did not anticipate that it would lead to such a debacle," he explained. He also named anti-incumbency and Hindu polarisation as other reasons.
