TMC leader and Baduria Municipality Chairman Dipankar Bhattacharjee was arrested by West Bengal Police on charges of corruption and misappropriation of government relief materials. Police seized over 4,000 government tarpaulins meant for flood victims and recovered around ₹80 lakh during raids at his premises. BJP said the arrest exposes the true face of TMC’s corruption model.
