TMC's Firhad Hakim leads in Kolkata Port, BJP's Rakesh Singh trails

Trends during the counting of votes for the West Bengal Assembly polls showed that TMC candidate and Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim is leading from the Kolkata Port seat, while BJP leader Rakesh Singh is trailing. Hakim has secured 51,721 votes and is leading by 38,682 votes, while Singh has polled 13,039 votes after eight of the 19 rounds of counting.
