TMC's Mahua Moitra granted interim protection in hate speech case

The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday granted interim protection from coercive action to TMC MP Mahua Moitra till October 5 in connection with a "hate speech" case. The case stems from remarks made by Moitra in two videos posted on social media after BJP supporters allegedly gathered outside a court in Krishnanagar carrying eggs and tomatoes to throw at her.
