TMC submits names, symbol choices to EC 'under strongest protest'

Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) submitted its choices of new names and symbols to Election Commission (EC) after the poll panel barred both TMC factions from using party’s name and symbol in the upcoming West Bengal Assembly bypolls. TMC submitted its choices “under strongest protest”, PTI reported, citing sources. The bypolls to Rejinagar and Nandigram are scheduled for October 6.
