TMC worker shot ahead of West Bengal polls; party blames BJP

Days before polling for Assembly elections, a TMC worker was shot while returning home after party work in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Sunday night. The party has blamed BJP for the attack. The injured worker, identified as Dibyendu Gayen, was on a motorcycle when unidentified miscreants opened fire, and a bullet struck his right thigh.
