TN CM lays foundation stone for new ₹9,000-cr Tata Motors plant

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a new manufacturing facility of Tata Motors in Ranipet, about 115 km from Chennai. The facility, built at a cost of ₹9,000 crore, will produce 2,50,000 units annually for both Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover. Stalin also held talks with Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran.
