TN CM Vijay raises DA to 63% for 16 lakh people ahead of Diwali

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay announced a 3% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees, teachers, pensioners and family pensioners ahead of Diwali. The hike will be effective retrospectively from July 1 this year, taking the DA from 60% to 63%. According to an official release, the DA hike will benefit approximately 16 lakh individuals.
