TN college asks students to use ink pen to lessen plastic output

Government Arts College in Tamil Nadu is encouraging students to use ink pens instead of ballpoint pens in order to decrease the institution's plastic output. The administration took the decision after noticing that the campus was littered with discarded ballpoint pen refills. The college has also replaced plastic cups with metal utensils in the canteen to reduce the plastic output.
