TN COVID-19 tally crosses 82,000 with 3,940 new cases on Sunday

Tamil Nadu has recorded 3,940 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases there to 82,275, said the state's Health and Family Welfare Department on Sunday. Tamil Nadu's COVID-19 death toll climbed to 1,079 with 54 more dying of the virus in last 24 hours. Tamil Nadu currently has 35,656 active COVID-19 cases.
