TN govt allows increase in seating capacity of cinema halls to 100% from 50%

Tamil Nadu government has allowed 100% occupancy in cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes amid decrease in COVID-19 cases. Earlier, they were permitted to open with 50% of their seating capacity. "Further, in order to create awareness among the spectators, the precautionary measures for COVID-19 shall also be screened during the show time," read an official notice.
